To delete a state from your TaxAct return, follow these steps:

1. From within your TaxAct return, click State.
   • On smaller devices, click in the top left corner of your screen, then make your selection.
2. Click the trashcan icon beside the state that needs to be deleted.
3. In the pop-up that appears, click Yes, Remove State to confirm that you want to delete the state.
