If you filed an extension and mailed in a payment with the extension, you will need to place the payment information from the extension form in our software for the data to accurately reflect on your return. Please follow the instructions below to enter your payment:

1. From within your TaxACT return (Online or Desktop) click on the State Q&A tab and then click Massachusetts directly below the blue tabs
2. Click Miscellaneous Topics to expand the category, hen click Use Tax, Optional 5.85% Tax Rate, and Extension Payments
3. Click No and then click Continue
4. Enter the amount of the payment made with the extension
