Arizona – Increased Excise Tax Credit
The Arizona Credit for Increased Excise Taxes is a refundable credit available to taxpayers who are not claimed as dependents by another taxpayer and whose federal adjusted gross income is:
- $25,000 or less if married filing jointly or head of household
- $12,500 or less if single or married filing separately.
The credit is generally $25 per qualifying household member, up to a maximum of $100 per household
This credit is reported on Line 35 of Arizona Form 140, or Line 38 of Arizona Form 140PY for part-year residents. To review or edit this information in TaxAct:
