How do I update my email address?
To change your email address:
- Sign in to your TaxAct Account.
- Within My Account, click the My Preferences tile.
- Click manage next to your email address. The Edit Email screen will pop up.
- Type your preferred email in the New Email Address field.
- Click Update Email; an email will be sent. Keep the Edit Email screen open.
- Navigate to your email inbox either in a new browser or a new tab to retrieve the verification code.
- Type the code in the Enter Verification Code field.
- After you type your code, click Verify Email.
