For the instruction letter addressed to the taxpayer with instructions about the e-filing:

1. Click Q&A in the options bar, then click Filing.
2. Continue with the interview process until you reach the screen titled E-Filing – Topics.
3. For the Print Returns and E-File Documents item, click Start or Review on the right.
4. Click the Click here link at the beginning of the paragraph to go to the Print Center.
5. In the Print Center box, make sure you have copies selected for the federal instruction letter and the state instruction letter, as needed.

To address the e-filing instructions to the preparer, click the Print Selected Items button.
