Schedule K-2 Domestic Filing Exception – Entering in Program
To include the domestic filing exception notification with each partner’s Schedule K-1 (Form 1065):
- From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop), click Federal (on smaller devices, click in the top left corner of your screen, then click Federal).
- Click the Pass-Through Items dropdown, then click Foreign Transactions.
- Continue through the interview process until the interview question “Schedule K-2 and K-3 – Items of International Relevance”.
- Select the domestic filing exception notification checkbox.
To include the domestic filing exception notification with each shareholder’s Schedule K-1 (Form 1120-S):
- From within your TaxAct return (Online or Desktop), click Federal (on smaller devices, click in the top left corner of your screen, then click Federal).
- Click the Shareholders Share of Income and Deductions (Schedule K) dropdown, then click Foreign Transactions.
- Click “Yes” to review foreign income, deductions, and losses.
- Continue through the interview process until the interview question “Schedule K-2 and K-3 – Items of International Relevance”.
- Select the domestic filing exception notification checkbox.
