Electronic Filing Payment Methods – Consumer
Electronic filing is available in all of our individual income tax products. Payment for software or electronic filing can be made with a credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express credit cards.
You may also choose to have your software or electronic filing fees deducted from your tax refund. This option is available in the Filing step.
We do not have the ability to withdraw funds directly from a checking account.
If your electronically filed return is rejected by the IRS or the state, you will NOT be charged to resubmit your return. After making any necessary corrections, repeat the Filing steps to resubmit your return. You may be prompted to re-enter your credit card information, but your card will not be charged for the resubmission.
Note: If the e-filed return is rejected because the taxpayer’s SSN is incorrect, you will be charged for resubmitting the return. Please email Customer Service to request a refund in such an event.
