Endeavor Card (Debit Card) Rejections
To follow are the main reasons The Bancorp Bank may not be able to validate your identity, and the steps needed to correct them:
- The mailing address on your 1040 tax return must be a physical address, not a PO Box. (Update the address under Basic Info in your tax return.)
- The input SSN may have been miskeyed. (Correct your social security number under Basic Info in your tax return.)
- Full name and SSN do not match. (Make sure you or your joint spouse’s names are spelled correctly, and that both first and last names match to your individual social security numbers.)
- Input SSN is invalid or not yet issued. (Either you have an incorrect social security number, or it was recently issued. At this time your identity cannot be validated by the Bancorp Bank, and you must choose a different method to receive your refund.)
- If you don’t see a common reason listed above for your rejection, please choose another method to receive your refund.
To choose a different method to receive your refund, go back to your return (either on your desktop or at www.taxactonline.com.) Once back in your return, you can choose Basic Info to make any changes, if needed, and then choose Filing, repeat the Filing step choosing either Direct Deposit or Check to receive your refund.
