Browser Issues General – Online/Website Problems
Website problems can be caused by poor internet connection, or browser settings like add-ons, pop-up blockers, auto-fill, or other security settings. Here are some troubleshooting options:
- Try using a different web browser.
- Check your browser settings. Enable pop-ups temporarily for the TaxAct website if pop-ups are blocked.
- Clear your cache and browsing history. You can go to our Clearing Browser Cache FAQ to clear it.
- Try private or incognito browsing to prevent the browser from interfering with website use. Depending on your browser, you can use one of these keyboard shortcuts to access incognito browsing:
- Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Safari: Command + Shift + N
