To search in Forms Explorer:

1. From within your TaxAct Professional Edition program, Double-click to open a client return (if you are not already in one).
2. In the Forms Explorer window, click the Search Forms field.
3. Type a form number or related word (example: “4868” or “extension”), and Forms Explorer will show the related forms.  Click a form title to open it in Forms View.

To search in Q&A:

1. From within your TaxAct Professional Edition program, Double-click to open a client return (if you are not already in one).
2. Click Q&A in the options bar, click the Tools dropdown on the right, then click Topics Assistant.
3. In the window that appears, click the Field next to Topic Search, and type a form number or related word (example: “4868” or “extension”).
4. A dropdown appears that highlights the form closest to your search.  Double-click the form title to open it in the Q&A.
